Am I The Only One That Feels Like This?

I don't have an article with me for this post because I just want to get something off my chest and out in the open. I've been having some lengthy and deep conversations with my mom about the current political scene and we came to the idea that has been tagged to the republican party that they are pro-life, even in the case of rape and incest. I honestly cannot wrap my brain around this idea. First of all, if you are against abortion for some moral or religious reason that's fine, but to not allow it for a woman who has been RAPED?! This honestly blows my mind. Rape is an atrocious act that can leave a woman broken for the rest of her life, and now she has to keep and support the child of the man that destroyed her life? This just does not seem right to me. I'm not going to pretend that I know what it's like to get an abortion, but I think it's fair to say that a woman should have the choice to abort the baby if she doesn't want it. She should't be made to keep it whether or not she wants to. If this sounds like a lot of rambling and ranting, I'm sorry its just that it frustrates me so much that no one seems to put themselves in their shoes of these women.
