Most Americans Frustrated about Presidential Campaigns

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/07/24/poll-most-americans-frustrated-with-2012-race/

This is a true fact, nearly 78% of Americans are frustrated with the Presidential campaigns. You might be thinking why? Or you understand and know why. The reason for this is because both candidates are negatively attacking each other to race to the finish line by the November 2012 election. Citizens have been complaining that the campaigns have had too many negative ads that are driving people crazy. In the article that I've given you said that 66% of Americans believe that the candidates have been too much offending each other than addressing issues that our country is struggling today.

In my opinion, the candidates just need to do their job. Yeah, stand up for what you believe in, but don't continously attack each other to win. In my opinion, I believe attacking each other makes a person unprofessional. To me, in every presidential campaign, seeing the candidates fight each other is just foolish to me! They should say and address the issues and do what's write. We as citizens are supposed to count on our leader, and when our leader is "so and so" how can we trust him of her?

What's your opinion with the presidential campaign? Do you agree or disagree with the other citizens? Why?

  1. People just need to stop complaining about this. No matter what they say, the truth is, negative attacks work, whether people like it or not. That's it.

  2. Yeah I agree with Raymond, even though they attack each other negatively..think about all the things we wouldn't have known about Romney if the Obama camp didn't do all the things they did ? If they didn't let us know about Bain, the outsourcing, or the offshore accounts. Then at the same time those who support Romney might not have exactly known about the things about Obama that they do now. Negativity is a kind of positivity , depending which side of the aisle your on.

  3. Well, my opinion is a mix of Raymond's and Mahogany's and yours Pedro. In order to win any competition, one must be fierce. They must do anything they can to try to win. Let's face it, that's the truth. The world is not fun and games, not happy-go-lucky. The candidates have every right to attack each other, because you have to realize that there is a great amount of tension between the two candidates. So people need to stop complaining about all the attack ads. I personally don't care about them. I don't even pay attention to them, to be honest.

However, I do see your point Pedro, because there are a lot of issues in this country that need to be solved. And with all this competition, we possibly are getting away from the real point of being a President. Which I believe, is not to attack others, but to try and help solve problems. But all this bickering between the candidates is to be expected, so people should not get so upset over it.
