I think that the fact of Mitt Romney considering running with former rival, Tim Pawlenty, who has a significantly different background than Romney. I believe that Tim Pawlenty isn't the right fit for Romney because they have different views. Pawlenty isn't the type of person I think belongs in the white house; this is due to his collection of tattoos. My view of a leader in not only this country, but any country, is to have some one who is smart, sophisticated, and able to make tough decisions, not someone with tattoos. I'm not trying to say that every leader shouldn't have a tattoo, they could have gotten it in the past from their old personality. However, I think that even if this leader had a tattoo he shouldn't go around showing it off. Although I am not a Romney fan, I strongly believe that choosing Pawlenty as a running mate would be a big mistake.
Can you picture having a President or Vice President filled with tattoos? Would you take Pawlenty as a running mate?
I mean I understand that people have freedom of speech ( and i would assume expression would fall under this catergory) but with that the people on top should have some type of limit. I don't want members of congress coming in with snapbacks on and crazy designs in their hair.
ReplyDeleteNo.
I feel that they gave that up when they decided to be a national government official. Romney continues to put himself in a hole and choosing someone you obviously didn't get a long with is not a good move. On any level really.
TPaw does not have any tattoos, let alone an extensive collection.
ReplyDeleteBut however I really don't care how people look, dress, wear, have on their bodies, because that really does not matter. What matters is what you believe and what you will do to make the American lives better. And if you believe otherwise, you're a fool.
TPaw, in my opinion would be a decent choice for VP, might I add. tattoos or not, I agree with him on many (not all) things and I would have supported him had he still been in the race when Huntsman dropped out.
But if him and Romney don't get along would that be the best thing for the campaign ? You know what I mean. actually PRIME EXAMPLE: the class of 2013's student officers...
DeleteTPaw and Mittens get along fine.
ReplyDeleteI think appearance is a very important thing for any politician. They need to look professional, simple. It doesn't matter what they believe or what plans they have in store, they have to look proper. I wouldn't trust some person who dresses like a thug, has a bunch of tattoos that can be seen, etc. That's ridiculous. Like Mahogany said, there should be some limit. That doesn't mean a few tattoos is a bad thing, they just need to be able to be covered up.
