http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/07/07/Unemployment-Rate-Dropped-In-Every-State-That-Elected-A-Republican-Gov-In-2010
So it looks like our Governors over on the GOP side have found it easier to create jobs than our buddies on the left. I can't help but wonder why that is. Maybe it is because the Democrats seem to be in love with job killing regulations? Or is it that the Republicans hate the job killing taxes? Is it because people like Scott Walker understand that you can't let big union bully jobs out the window?
So with these numbers that prove that the Republicans seem to be better, in some cases only a little and in other incredibly, at lowering the unemployment rate in their state, and with the not so good looking national job numbers from the President the other day, do the Democrats really deserve to keep the power they have in Washington? Does the President deserve to keep his job, when the party he is fighting against is doing so much better than him in creating jobs? Does Mitt Romney and his GOP friends deserve a turn at the wheel and do what the Republicans at the state level are doing to create all the jobs they've been creating?
Well when it comes to job creation I don't know much. Let's think about this though, in these states listed what does the education instituiton look like ?
ReplyDeleteI bet you that the high school dropout rate is very low. Education is the biggest factor when it comes to jobs. It's been proven. So many jobs now require college degrees , not even high school diplomas. But how are students to get a college degree if they don't have the money? They go hand in hand if you think about it good education <-> employment.
I disagree that the democrats have the power , ESPECIALLY in washington. The republicans are the majority. I read a tweet ( not sure if this is really that credible ) from @POLITICO that the GOP has said that they will do everything they can to stop the democrats.
Their is no compromise with either of them , and this is what upsets me.
I don't like Mitt Romney. Period.
I dislike a lot of the things he stands for. He's a businessman with business intrests. He publicly said he would do everything possible to reverse the supreme courts decision. Now, I'm pretty sure everyone has been taught to obey authority, and that statement does not sound like the obedience of a president. Yes he was the former massachutes governnor , but because you were a governor of a pretty well-off state does that make you eligible to be our president? Hardly.
He's said a lot of things that really truly make me NERVOUS if he were to ever become president, I don't think we'd be doing any better than we are now. The republicans can rally and be as radical as they want , but the thing about it is is that is he really the best president for ALL of America ? Will he have everyones intrests at heart , like our current president tries to ?
Jobs may be one of the biggest issues, but it isn't the only issue.
Do you realize how much you contradicted yourself just now?
ReplyDeleteBy your logic, if a good education is needed to get a job, and unemployment is low (which means many people have jobs), then that means that many people have a good education in these states.
All the more reason to give the GOP the wheel of this country.
And to point out more flaws in your "logic", the GOP only has the House. The Democrats still have the Senate and the White House. The Republicans only control 1/3 of the government yet they have the power? Ok.
Also. Mitt Romney is EXTREMELY more experienced to become President right now than Barack Obama was in 2008.
Romney was governor, that means he has executive experience. He was a business man, he's dealt with the economy & the business world and he knows how they work.
Obama? Not even one term in the Senate.
So don't crap on Romney's experience without taking a look at you beloved President.
Now just to be clear I'm in no way supporting Mitt Romney, I never will. The only thing I'm saying, is the GOP is clearly doing a whole lot of a better job at creating jobs than the Democrats. You simply cannot deny that fact in any way.
In refrence to the education/job thing , what I was trying to imply was exactly what you said. These states have good education rate so all the credit cannot be given to the GOP in regard to the creation of jobs.
DeleteI will give you the romney has more experience. Woop de doo.
I was reading many and this article in particular (http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/06/opinion/brazile-romney-bain/index.html?iid=article_sidebar) about romneys experience. He has the success and all that but do we really need a CEO as president.
But the thing is, in CERTAIN states they are creating jobs. As I said before Democrats and Republicans need to work together and cut all this seperation baloney out !
Just saying.
