The Results are in!!!

I don't know if you guys saw my last post about how you guys could vote on Nick.com for who you believe should be the President of the United States. For those who did vote can now go on Nick.com and see the result(You could also see the results even if you didn't vote!) However if for some reason the results are not there anymore or the site doesn't work here are the results:

ACCORDING TO THE KIDS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OUR NEXT PRESIDENT SHOULD BE  BARACK OBAMA!!!!!!

As you all know that currently we are learning about Political Beliefs and Political Parties so here are a few questions for thought:

1. Do you think that the results from Kids Pick the President will effect the choice of their parents?

2. Do you think President Obama will be reelected because of what the kids believe?

3. According to David Eisenhower, youth these days don't care about our government, is this still the truth now?

  1. mmmmmm this post caught my eye because not all kids know about government and politics and how it actually works but when they do figure it out they can be more passionate about voting than their parents not all families follow the government and keep their kids politically up to date but yet they have the power to vote , i like how nick came up with that ; it was pretty clever and i guess it also gave kids some feeling and sense of power but it also gives Obama the right to use this poll as back up like he can say oh the kids that are politically informed voted and this is what happened he can go and interview a kid that voted and it could be a way to help his campaign but to answer your questions no i don't think that the children s votes will affect the parents opinion at all because they might just be like oh your a child what do you know and things like that 2-i dont think its possible for his reelection to be based on children votes because we are the future but we arent the present 3- You cant always categorize a category and what i mean is that even though we're kids we're not all the same and how informed politically u are is gonna be based on what kind of house u were raised in , what u believe, what kind of life you live , where you live, HOW your living and what classes you take in school . how would you know about gov't if no one taught you and you didnt know how to teach yourself ? everyone is different with different backgrounds so no ones beliefs are usually exactly the same .
